City of Dreams

Indulge in today's late homework: a painting series by Sarah Weber! Throw your palms in the air like you just don't care!!

"I like to teach myself how to do things. I taught my self how to play the ukulele and also how to knit. For this project I decided I would like to oil paint, so I watched a lot of how to videos and a lot of Bob Ross’ Joy of Painting.

This series is both an homage to the city of Los Angeles & one of my favorite contemporary artists Jaguarland. He does amazing landscapes of Los Angeles with oil paint on canvas (y’all should really check him out on Instagram)." - SW

Inside the Mind of an INFP

Featured Late Homework today: "Inside the Mind of an INFP" Art by Jennifer Tiedemann.

"I drew this when I was thinking a lot about my Myers-Briggs type and how it affects my life. I'm an INFP, which means that I am a dreamer with a vibrant imagination, and I'm susceptible to feeling things too strongly. I think about the "what-ifs" of situations all the time--I consider all possibilities before making a decision. It's gotten me into trouble more than a few times, I have to remember that reality and my feelings aren't always one and the same!

My workspace is depicted as neutral and colorless, in contrast to the wacky color palette of everything running through my mind at any given moment" -JT
